  • National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) sets the standard of education in Ireland.
  • Degree from Irish Universities is recognized World over.
  • All the universities in Ireland are Public universities & are controlled by the Government of Ireland.
  • There are the Institutes of Technology and Colleges in Ireland also. These Institutes and Colleges in Ireland are also controlled by the Government.

    • Students can pursue Bachelors or Masters in Ireland, Colleges in Ireland, Ireland Universities and Institutes of Technology offer Bachelors and Masters programs.
    • There are some colleges in Ireland and some institutes of technology that offer Higher Diploma courses also.
    • There may be few universities in Ireland that also offer Higher Diploma and Pathway programs.
    • Main intake in Ireland is September. There are some Ireland Universities and Colleges in Ireland that offer Jan and April intake also. However, choice of courses and universities/ colleges is limited for these intakes. If a course of choice is available in either of the intakes then students should make the application and plan for higher studies.
    • Bachelors program in Ireland is for either 3 or 4 years. Both are recognized by Government of Ireland and hold the same relevance.
