1. UK Universities & Colleges in UK

3. Tuition Fees
Tuition fees for study in UK can range from Rs 8 lacs per year to Rs 15 lacs per year depending upon course, university & college. Living expense of Rs 10 or 11 lacs per year is extra depending upon whether you study in London or outside. Most of the Masters in UK courses are for 1 year (2 year course options are also available). UG programs can be for 3 years or 4 years. Masters in Management UK is one of the most sought after course for study in UK as it provides good career prospects.
4. Eligibility Criteria
UK Universities require minimum 55% in undergraduate studies to study Masters in UK. For Undergraduate programs, minimum 50% in grade 12th should be achieved. IELTS is not mandatory for international students to study in UK, however, it is preferred. Some UK Universities require GMAT score & work experience for MBA programs. Study in UK without IELTS is possible. There are few colleges that accept class 12th English marks (above 65 %) as proof of English language study. Some colleges in England even conduct their own English test. Also, if UKVI IELTS score is less, students can pursue a foundation course leading to main course.
6. Scholarships in UK
UK is a scholarship friendly country for deserving students. UK Universities provide good scholarships (that can go up to 30%) on the basis of academic marks, statement of purpose (SOP), letters of references (LORs), etc. It is advisable to apply early to avail scholarship as they get over very quickly. UK scholarships for Indian students are same as they are for students from any other country. In other words, scholarships for Indian students to study in UK are same as they are for other nationalities.
7. Application Process
College applications are extremely critical as they involve spending time to fill up forms, providing letters of reference (LORS), referee details, preparing statement of purpose (SOP), IELTS, etc and all documents have to be uploaded in a specific format. Any information missed while filling applications can lead to rejection of the same.
9. UK Student Visa File
Preparation of UK Student Visa File should be strictly done as per guidelines – don’t take risk by applying yourself as you may not be aware of most of the visa requirements that get updated from time to time. UK visa usually takes about 20 to 30 days unless you apply for express visa that can be granted in 3 to 4 days. UK student visa file should show funds that are minimum 28 days old.
